Nobody has a better track record at Mission Hills than Lexi Thompson. She won the ANA Inspiration in 2014 when she posted rounds of 73-64-69-68. The 64 is two off the 18-hole scoring record at the Dinah Shore Tournament Course set by Lorena Ochoa in 2006.

Look at her finishes over the years: second last year, fifth the year prior, seventh three years ago and then the win in 2014. It's a big reason why all four of our LPGA.com experts put Lexi in their four to win.

Michelle Wie is another popular pick. While she hasn't won the ANA Inspiration, she did finish sixth last year, just three back of So Yeon. The panel went heavy on players with major championships already on the resume like Inbee Park, Brittany Lincicome and Shanshan Feng. The only players selected without a major are Jin Young Ko and Jessica Korda.

Inbee Park - Already a triumphant return from injury in 2018, Park is a winner this year. She was T3 a year ago and told me her big goal for the year is to win majors.

Lexi Thompson - Nobody wants to win this tournament more than Lexi and she'll have more support than anybody. Fans will be loud in support of the 9-time LPGA winner.

Jessica Korda - She has a ridiculous 68.25 scoring average in 12 rounds this year so she's been awesome in the short sample. She also finished T11 last year so a nice showing at ANA to believe the course suits her.

So Yeon Ryu - She's determined to prove that she didn't just win last year because of the Lexi penalty. Instead, she played great golf with rounds of 68-69-69-68. She finished tied for tenth two years ago with two more rounds of 69.

Shanshan Feng - She's been No. 1 in the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings for 20 straight weeks yet nobody is really talking about Feng this year. Come on people, she does have two top five finishes this year. Maybe back-to-back sub-Feng type performances has her under the radar this week. Perfect time to strike and increase her hold on the top spot in world.

Brittany Lincicome - The two-time ANA Inspiration champion is coming into this week’s major in great form. She’s carried over the momentum she found early in the year with her win at the Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic and has two more top 10s to start 2018.

Jin Young Ko - The rookie is off to a hot start in 2018 with a win in Australia and three more top-10s in five starts. She’s flying under the radar, so she won’t be feeling the pressure to win her first major.

Lexi Thompson - The 2014 ANA Inspiration champion will be highly motivated to pick up her second win in Rancho Mirage. She’s got three top-10s since her win in 2014.

Inbee Park - The 2013 ANA Inspiration champion is gearing her year around the season’s big events and she’s in great form heading into the season’s first major championship. She already won her first event of the year two weeks ago at the Bank of Hope Founders Cup.
