Gerina Piller Interview Starts at: 11:00 minute mark
Kay Cockerill Interview Starts at: 31:00 minute mark
How's Gerina Piller doing? What's it like being a mom? Will she return in 2018? We hadn't really heard much from Gerina since the Diamond Resorts Invitational in January or since the birth of baby AJ on April 26th. We caught up with the new mom to see how she is adjusting to her new life taking care of her son. We also discussed the day she gave birth, traveling with Martin on the PGA TOUR, starting to workout again, the advice she has received from Juli Inkster and when she will return. We also found out what she was craving during her pregnancy!
We also caught up with Golf Channel on-course reporter and interviewer Kay Cockerill this week. Kay played on the LPGA for nine seasons and transitioned immediately to Golf Channel when the network was being created. Kay talks about the dominance of Ariya Jutanugarn, the surprise win by Annie Park, should young players go to college or straight to the LPGA and gearing up to play in the USGA Senior Women's Open. She also tells us how far she has to stand away from the players so they don't hear her when she is commentating.
Amy Rogers and Bret Lasky roundtable about So Yeon Ryu's win at the Meijer LPGA Classic and the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship this week.
In "Go For it or Lay Up", we debate the Phil Mickelson drama at the U.S. Open, Caroline Masson's recent success and do players whine too much about course set up?
