Sleep. Eat. Netflix. Sweatpants.

That's how Jessica Korda passed the time on Saturday when persistent rain washed out the resumption of the second round at the Kingsmill Championship. Korda and the rest of the field restarted round two on Sunday at 7:30 a.m.

She started on six fairway and finished with four pars to head into the final round at 8-under, three shots back of In Gee Chun. Officials announced on Saturday afternoon that the tournament would be reduced to 54 holes.

Meanwhile, Catriona Matthew also took advantage of the day off on Saturday. She qualified for her 23rd U.S. Women's Open on Monday in London and then had travel hiccups and didn't arrive in Williamsburg until Wednesday. She didn't play a practice round, but also didn't get much rest in the midst of travel.

"Very proud to have qualified," said Matthew on Sunday morning. "Apart from the British (for me), it's (U.S. Women's Open) the biggest tournament in women's golf so I'm excited to play."

Matthew also played her final four holes on Sunday morning and closed at 7-under.

"I think I've driven the ball well, and obviously the course is wet now so the rough is wet, just kind of keep it on the fairway," explained Matthew after completing 36 holes without a single bogey. "I've hit a lot of fairways and a lot of greens. You hate to say it, but it has been fairly easy (golf)."

While it's still more than a year out, Matthew is keeping her eyes open as the captain of Team Europe for the 2019 Solheim Cup, which will take place September 13-15, 2019 at PGA Centenary Course at Gleneagles in Perthshire.

"It's always in the back of your mind. You're always kind of thinking about it and watching players. It's early, but it's always there."

What's in the present is a chance for her fifth career LPGA Tour win and first since 2011.

The River Course has taken a lot of water over the last four days and the grounds staff has done a remarkable job in ensuring the best possible course conditions. Korda has taken note.

"I have no idea how they pulled through and got it playable for how much rain we've gotten this last week," said Korda in her first answer on Sunday morning. "Huge props to the groundscrew. All the volunteers, everyone involved has done an amazing job. We're very thankful everyone stuck around and didn't leave us."

Now, it's time to rest up for both before the final round. Korda is in position for her second win of the season.
