Following a historic season on the LPGA Tour, Ariya Jutanugarn is beginning the New Year with a new member on her team.
Jutanugarn, who is currently the No. 1 player in the Rolex Rankings, will make her season debut at the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions with Daniel Taylor as her caddie. Jutanugarn’s camp confirmed the split with former caddie Les Luark and added that she will begin working with Taylor on a trial basis.
Luark caddied for Jutanugarn off and on since she joined the Tour in 2015. The pair enjoyed a record-breaking season in 2018, which included three wins, a major victory and a historic sweep of the season-ending awards.
Taylor previously caddied for fiancé Pernilla Lindberg, who won for the first time on Tour at the 2018 ANA Inspiration. Lindberg will begin her season at the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions with caddie Roy Clarke. He previously caddied for Se Ri Pak, Jenny Shin, Sandra Gal and others on the LPGA Tour.
