The final matchup to determine the LPGA Player of the Decade features No.1 Inbee Park and No.14 Brooke Henderson. Park advanced to the final pairing from the Kathy Whitworth bracket, where, in the Round of 16, she defeated No.16 Michelle Wie with 85% of fan votes, then defeated No. 8 Sung Hyun Park with 50.33% of the vote in the quarter final, and in the LPGA Player of the Decade Final Foursome defeated No 4 Lydia Ko with 54%.
Unlike top-seeded Park, Henderson, at the No.14 seed in the Louise Suggs bracket, pulled off three upsets to advance to the final matchup. In the Round of 16, Henderson defeated No.3 Stacy Lewis with 75% of fan votes, and defeated No. 6 Lexi Thompson with 59% in the quarter final. Henderson then pulled off a narrow upset of No.2 Yani Tseng with 51% in the LPGA Player of the Decade Final Foursome.

Park rightfully earned the No.1 seed in the LPGA Player of the Decade, a position that was determined based on player’s accomplishments between 2010 and 2019.
