Mi Jung Hur earned the first wire-to-wire victory of her LPGA Tour career at the Indy Women in Tech Championship driven by Group 1001. The Republic of Korea native posted a final-round 68 in Indianapolis to finish at 21-under-par, four strokes ahead of Nanna Koerstz Madsen, as she became the sixth multiple winner on the LPGA Tour this season.
"I'm just trying to enjoy my golf game for the whole year, and it's working really well. Every day's not too much stress from my game. I'm so happy," said Hur.
Hur shared with LPGA.com after winning the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open in August that she started carrying a butterfly-shaped keychain in her bag that she received from a young fan. She confirmed after her latest victory that not only had her clubs remained the same, but the same "lucky butterfly" was also still in her bag.
That butterfly keychain has proved once again to be a charm for Hur on the LPGA Tour. Whether it's luck or confidence in her game, or a little of both, Hur is certainly enjoying herself on the course and is ready for her next victory.
Here is a complete list of the clubs Hur was using when she won the Indy Women in Tech Championship driven by Group 1001.
