A look at the equipment Sei Young Kim used to win the 2019 LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship.
The LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship ended in dramatic fashion with Kim outlasting Bronte Law and Jeongeun Lee6 with a birdie on the first playoff hole for her eighth LPGA Tour victory, improving to 4-0 in playoffs.
Kim entered the final round with a three-stroke lead at -10, but a rough start took away the advantage when Kim opened with a double bogey and a bogey in her first two holes at Lake Merced Golf Club.
The 26-year-old from the Republic of Korea birdied No. 15 to tie for the lead, but her tee shot at the par-3 17th found a greenside bunker, leading to a bogey and dropping her a stroke behind Law and Lee6. Kim's eagle opportunity on the par-5 18th just missed the hole but a tap-in birdie set Kim up to finish at 3-over 75 and force a three-player playoff.
"It was really tough," Kim said. "The whole day I got a lot of pressure. And I missed the last par 3, and that's really bad for me. I'm still like almost my heart came out."
