Karrie Webb has dominated every facet of golf she’s taken on, and now the World Golf Hall of Famer adds a new challenge to her career in the golf course design business. The Australian native is bringing her skillset to Indooroopilly Golf Club, which hosts six golf courses, including a top 100 Australian Golf Course.

She joins fellow Australian Ross Perrett as a co-architect. Perrett boasts 25 years of experience in golf course architecture, designing 27 golf courses in thirteen different countries.

She has worked on other projects and bids since the early 2000s, but this is her first venture with her new golf course design company, Perrett Webb.

The courses at Indooroopilly are familiar to Webb, as she played there many times during her amateur era.

The co-architects launched the limited partnership Perrett Webb Pty Ltd late in 2018 after having experience working together on a bid for the 2016 Rio Olympics course design. While not receiving the Rio contract, they’re excited for the opportunity to help shape a course in their homeland.

“To be awarded our first project together in my home state of Queensland is really exciting and I can’t wait to get started," the 41-time LPGA winner told LPGA.com.

Webb is set to make her 2019 season debut at the ISPS Handa Vic Open.
