Australia's Hannah Green captured her second victory of the season with a closing round 67 to finish at 21-under-par and claimed a one-shot win over Yealimi Noh at the 2019 Cambia Portland Classic.
Green started the final day in Portland three-strokes back and erased that deficit with three birdies over the last seven holes at Columbia Edgewater Country Club. Green claimed her first victory in June at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship.
Green went into the week of KPMG Women's PGA Championship fresh off a missed cut and came to the Cambia Portland Classic after missing the cut in the CP Women's Open, both ending with victories.
Green admitted she felt comfortable the first two days, even shooting a career-best score, and trying not to get ahead of herself before the final round.
"I think what I did really well this week was just making sure I played every hole one at a time and every shot one at a time," said Green. "I think this confidence has definitely come from KPMG, and missing the cut last week, I had to work hard on my putting for this week. Just needed to be really confident with the putter and kind of felt like I had similar stats to KPMG."
