I was waiting to post about this but now I have a diagnostic. I was walking last Saturday and felt due to a wet floor. I hurt my right knee, fracture and dislocated my patella, so will be out for the rest of the 2019 LPGA season unfortunately. Thanks for all the support and my goal is to come back stronger in 2020.
Mariajo Uribe's 2019 season has come to a premature end. The Colombian took to social media to announce that she recently fractured the patella in her right knee after suffering a fall on a wet floor. She will be out for the 2019 season and plans to return in 2020.
Uribe went on to add in Spanish that she believes the injury will not impact her in Tokyo at the 2020 Summer Olympics, and she thanked everyone for their support and good wishes.
Uribe's 2019 LPGA Tour season ends after a strong four-week stretch in the United States, France and England which was highlighted by her best finish of the year - T11 at the Marathon Classic presented by Dana.
