Who’s in The Hunt
Priming for a repeat of the 2015 Cambia Portland Classic, Yealimi Noh sits alone at (-19). The 18-year-old Monday qualifier holds a three-shot lead over 36-hole leader Hannah Green. Green looks to join Jin Young Ko, Sei Young Kim, Sung Hyun Park, and Brooke Henderson as a multiple winner on the LPGA Tour this season.
Henderson headlines the chase group, joining Brittany Altomare at (-14) as the final two players within five shots of Noh. The duo both have strong track records of success, with Henderson’s run to victory as a Monday qualifier in 2015, then defending the title in 2016. Altomare, in search of her first career victory, finished T3 in 2017.

The Final Pairing
Hannah Green (-16), Yealimi Noh (-19), 2:25 P.M.
Yealimi Noh fired the lowest round of moving day by two strokes, carding four birdies over the final five holes to vault ahead by three shots. After play, Noh explained coming into the third round, “Yesterday, too, I was just like, I couldn't really sleep. I was excited to come out and try to move on moving day.” It’ll likely be even less sleep for the six-month tenured professional, as a win would vault her to her dreams coming true. This isn’t the first time she’s been in contention on the LPGA Tour, as Noh finished T6 at the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic, and was in the final pairing on Saturday.
The dreams of Hannah Green came true earlier this year, after she won the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Her opening 36 holes played like a dream, sitting at (-17) through two rounds. The Australian faced a rough awakening on greens that sped up on Saturday afternoon, playing significantly faster than the practice green. She’ll have an opportunity to adjust once again in Sunday in her second appearance at the Cambia Portland Classic.
Weather
The final round has a high of 81 degrees and light winds of five to ten miles an hour.
