Amy Yang and Minjee Lee sit atop a packed leaderboard at 15-under par and share the 54-hole lead at the Honda LPGA Thailand. The duo leads second-round leader Jenny Shin by two shots and has a large group of pursuers with nine players within four shots of the lead.
Yang, a two-time Honda LPGA Thailand champion turned in a second consecutive round of 6-under 66 in round three. Sitting in a share of the lead and with victory in sight, Yang admitted she had another solid day.
Yang said she, ”hit a lot of solid shots and made some good putts out there. I feel good. I played good today.”
Lee, whose last victory came at the 2018 LPGA Volvik Championship, shot her third under-par round of the tournament, carding one bogey and six birdies to finish with a 5-under 67 and a share of the lead.
“I feel pretty solid. I've been holing a couple more putts this week than the other two weeks that I played, so that's a good sign. I have been hitting it pretty solid, so that's pretty nice, too,” said Lee after her round on Saturday.
