Nelly Korda and Lexi Thompson Tied for Lead Heading into Today’s Final Round of Pelican Women’s Championship
BELLEAIR, Fla., Nov. 14, 2021 – The Pelican Women’s Championship announced today a multi-year extension with the LPGA Tour to host the championship at Pelican Golf Club through 2025. In addition, beginning with the 2022 Pelican Women’s Championship, the purse will increase to $2 million.

The Pelican Women’s Championship made its debut in 2020 without spectators and is welcoming fans to Pelican Golf Club for the first time this week. World No. 1 Nelly Korda and multiple major champion Lexi Thompson are tied for the lead at 16-under par heading into today’s final round. The 2021 Pelican Women’s Championship this week featured 108 of the game’s top women professional golfers converging upon Tampa Bay to compete in the 72-hole championship for a share of the $1.75 million purse.
GOLF Channel will air primetime coverage of the final round tonight from 7:30-10:30 p.m., with live final-round coverage streaming on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app from 1-4 p.m. ET. Peacock will stream ‘Featured Hole’ coverage today of the par-3 12th hole, where three holes-in-one have taken place this week – Austin Ernst on Monday, Pavarisa Yoktuan on Friday and Su Oh today – winning two-year leases on a new Lamborghini.
