Robyn Choi
Coming off back-to-back top-10 finishes, including a season-best result of a tie for fourth at the IOA Golf Classic presented by LPT Realty, Robyn Choi is in search of more. She shared 21st place at both the 2020 and 2021 Inova Mission Inn Resort & Club Championship, and the University of Colorado alumna owns a career-best performance of runner-up at the 2020 Four Winds Invitational. Choi has played the weekend five times in six starts on the Epson Tour this season.
Sofia Garcia
A 2022 Epson Tour rookie, Sofia Garcia collected a career-best finish of a tie for second at the Carlisle AZ Women’s Golf Classic, just her second start as a pro. After three straight missed cuts, Garcia has found a groove. Like Choi, Garcia came to Howey-in-the-Hills on the heels of back-to-back top 10s. The native of Paraguay was a four-time medalist in her collegiate career at Texas Tech University. This week will be Garcia’s final tune-up for the U.S. Women’s Open, which she qualified for at Fox Run Golf Club on May 4.
Hira Naveed
In her third year on the “Road to the LPGA,” Hira Naveed has come into her own as one of the more consistent players on Tour. Eleven of her 19 rounds played in 2022 have been under par. Naveed also ranks fourth in putts per greens in regulation (1.72) and sixth in putting average (28.89). A four-time All-WCC First Team selection for Pepperdine University, Naveed has made five straight cuts with four top-20 results including a pair of top 10s at the Carlisle AZ Women’s Golf Classic and Casino Del Sol Golf Classic.
