On Monday, Danielle Kang announced when she will return to competition at the CP Women’s Open, August 25 - 29. The 29-year-old Californian and six-time LPGA Tour winner has been away since June, announcing at the U.S. Women’s Open at Pine Needles that she has a tumor on her spine. She has not played on tour since June 5, the Sunday of that major championship in North Carolina where she finished T65.
In June, she said she did not have answers, although reports have surfaced that she has been honing her game for a return to competition.
