Individuals will compete in a 72-hole, stroke-play format for $200,000 and a winner’s share of $30,000. A cut will be made to the low 60 and ties after 36 holes. Tournament admission is free.

The three 2023 champions will compete in Tucson this week, including the Epson Tour’s most recent winner, Miranda Wang. The 2023 Epson Tour rookie returns to the Casino Del Sol Golf Classic with momentum from her first Epson Tour victory at the IOA Championship presented by Morongo Casino Resort and Spa, as well as confidence from her T9 finish at Sewailo Golf Club in 2022.
“Last year in Tucson, it was my first Epson Tour event, and I was excited to be there. At that time, I just won a [Women’s All Pro Tour] WAPT tournament which got me an exemption spot. I was feeling good about my game, and I liked Sewailo Golf Club,” said Wang. “This year I’m happy to come back here as a [Epson Tour] member. I’m feeling confident now and think I can shoot good scores.”
Past champions, Ruixin Liu and Andrea Lee have moved on to the LPGA Tour since winning the Casino Del Sol Golf Classic in 2021 and 2022 respectively. Other notable top-finishers from the past two years that have moved on to the LPGA Tour include Lucy Li (2nd in 2022), Daniela Darquea (3rd in 2022), Morgane Metraux (2nd in 2021) and Lilia Vu (T4, 2021).
