The LPGA Tour heads to the People’s Republic of China for the third playing of the Buick LPGA Shanghai. The event makes its return to the 2023 calendar after not being contested in 2020, 2021 and 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and will see eight of this season’s winners as well as defending champion Danielle Kang tee it up at Qizhong Garden Golf Club in Shanghai. A $2.1 million purse is up for grabs as are Race to the CME Globe, Rolex Player of the Year and Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year points as the season-long races begin to wind down and the CME Group Tour Championship looms large.
