And as the host of the Bank of Hope LPGA Match-Play, MGM Resorts is enlivening its commitment to the community with a contribution to an organization that is dedicated to education and workforce development, two key philanthropic focus areas for the company.
The Players Challenge, presented by NFLPA and MGM Resorts, will benefit Play Like a Girl, a charitable organization on a mission to level the playing field by leveraging the skills girls gain from sport to propel them into competitive, male-dominated careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) fields.
With a $40,000 contribution, MGM Resorts and the LPGA will support Play Like a Girl as it connects middle school girls with inspiring women role models and mentors to unveil the many pathways to a STEM career and guide them toward leadership, ultimately building confidence for a future in STEM.
MGM Resorts is proud to support Play Like a Girl and continue its steadfast commitment to building up communities through education and workforce development.
