Nelly Korda has announced that she will miss the Mizuho Americas Open next week at Liberty National Golf Club.
Korda shared on her Instagram story on Monday that she won’t play in the inaugural event in Jersey City, N.J. at the “advice of her medical team” due to “pain in her back.”
The eight-time LPGA Tour winner also said that she and her team are “working on a treatment plan” so she will be “back to 100% soon for the remainder of the exciting season ahead.”
Korda’s next scheduled start is the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give at Blythefield Country Club in Belmont, Mich.
