Major champion Sophia Popov announced the birth of her daughter, Maya Mae Mehles, today via Instagram.
The 30-year-old German posted a photo of the newborn saying, “Introducing Maya Mae Mehles 06.08.2023. Looking forward to all the adventures with our little nugget. A love unlike any other.”
Popov announced that she and husband Max Mehles were expecting their first child on January 2.
She is the fourth LPGA Tour player this year to have a child, alongside Hee Young Park, Inbee Park and Caroline Masson.
