Our first Woman of Strength, Jean Macon, is an Iraq Veteran of the US Army, a former civilian police officer, head university coach, and LPGA professional to veterans and youth athletes. However, her most rewarding work comes from her role as a mother. Leading with love, she personally adopted four siblings placed in three separate foster homes and raised them as her own. The best part of her day comes from watching her kids dare to dream and find their renewed sense of joy in the face of the immense obstacles they overcame.

“I lead by example through love, positivity, and encouragement,” said Macon.
