The final event of the Epson Tour season gets underway this week at the Players Course at Indian Wells Golf Resort in Indian Wells, Calif.

For the first time, 15 LPGA Tour cards will be awarded to the top 15 athletes in the Race for the Card at the conclusion of the Epson Tour Championship at Indian Wells.

Those athletes who finish in the top 10 of the Race for the Card will be seeded into Category 9 on the 2025 LPGA Tour Priority List, while those who finish 11-15 will be in a lower category.

The category positions for those five Epson Tour graduates will alternate with the athletes who finish 101-125 in the LPGA Tour’s Race to the CME Globe after the event preceding the CME Group Tour Championship. The sequence will see the 101st player in the Race to the CME Globe be listed first, the 11th player in the Race for the Card listed second and continue accordingly.

Epson Tour Members finishing 11-35 in the Race for the Card after the Epson Tour Championship will have the option to compete in Final Qualifying if they would like to improve their status next year. Their entry fee into the last stage of LPGA Q-Series will be paid for courtesy of the Seiko Epson Corporation using the Epson Player Development Fund.

The season-long Race for the Card changed from a money-based system to a points-based system this season. Five athletes – Lauren Stephenson, Yahui Zhang, Jessica Porvasnik, Fatima Fernandez Cano and Brooke Matthews – have already mathematically clinched their LPGA Tour cards for the 2025 season.
