Brittany Lincicome plans to retire from full-time professional golf after The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge in November.

The two-time major champion has received a sponsor exemption into the event, which will be her last of the 2024 season, marking the end of her full-time career on the LPGA Tour.

“I’ve had a tremendous career on and off the golf course on the LPGA Tour, and I’m incredibly honored and humbled to have the opportunity to finish my final full-time season where everything started for me here in the Tampa Bay region,” Lincicome said in a press release about the exemption. “Thank you to Pelican Golf Club, Gainbridge and Annika for giving me the opportunity to compete in front of my family, friends and fans.”

Lincicome first joined the LPGA Tour in 2005 and has amassed eight victories in her time as a member, two of which were major championships that came at the 2009 and 2015 Chevron Championships when the event was still contested at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif. Her most recent LPGA Tour victory is the 2018 Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic.

The 39-year-old has been a member of six U.S. Solheim Cup Teams and most recently served as one of Stacy Lewis’ assistant captains for the 2024 competition, which saw the Americans win their first Cup since 2017 at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Va.

Lincicome is from Seminole, Fla., and currently resides in the Tampa Bay area. She is a proud LPGA Mom with two daughters, Emery and Sophia.
