Jeeno Thitikul is in a great position to win the Aon Risk Reward Challenge after securing her eleventh top-10 finish of the 2024 season. Her runner-up result at last week's Maybank Championship was her sixth consecutive top 10, including a tie for fourth at the FM Championship, a solo second at the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G, a tie for seventh at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G, a tie for fifth at the Buick LPGA Shanghai and a tie for eighth at the BMW Ladies Championship.

Thitikul is now -0.900 shots under par and 27-under total after 30 holes played. She currently leads Haeran Ryu, who sits at -0.825 shots under par and is the only player within the top five on the Aon Risk Reward Challenge playing in this week's TOTO Japan Classic. Thitikul can improve her average score and extend her lead by recording two birdies or better in her last two holes in the Challenge.

Ruoning Yin sits in third at -0.813, with Nelly Korda and Lilia Vu rounding out the top five at -0.808 and -0.800 shots under par, respectively.

Thitikul has earned just over $2,059,309 this year and is one of eight players who have earned at least $2 million in official money this season. She currently sits at seventh on the Official Money List, seventh in the Race to the CME Globe with 2,131.839 points, first in the Vare Trophy standings with a scoring average of 69.537 and 10th in the Rolex Player of the Year award points standings, 176 points behind current leader Nelly Korda.

Bailey Tardy On the Rise

Bailey made the most impactful move in the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings, jumping up 33 spots to No. 98 in the world, the highest rank in her career since June of 2024, after tying for fourth at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club. The T4 performance is only her second top 10 this season with her first coming at the Blue Bay LPGA in March when she became a Rolex First-Time Winner. This finish ties her second-best result on Tour, which came last year in her rookie season at the U.S. Women's Open at Pebble Beach Golf Links.

The Epson Tour alum’s move in the Rolex Rankings may have been impressive, but her move in the Race to the CME Globe standings was much more significant. Tardy jumped from No. 65 to No. 50 and is now well inside the top 60 points with an opportunity to play in the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship.

The American has three career top-10 finishes on the LPGA Tour and has made $1,109,707 in career earnings. Tardy has had an up-and-down year thus far, only making six cuts in 21 starts this season, but her victory and her top-five result in Malaysia have helped her maintain her position in the Race to the CME Globe.

Mao Saigo Maintains Lead in Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year Race

Mao Saigo holds the top spot in the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year award point standings, leading Jin Hee Im by 112 points and Gabriela Ruffels by 362 points after her T30 showing at the Maybank Championship. Five players have a mathematical chance to win the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year award with four events remaining in the 2024 season. Saigo is currently scheduled to play in all of the remaining events this year and has the opportunity to become the second player from Japan to win Rookie of the Year alongside Hiromi Kobayashi (1990) if she can finish with solid performances.

The Japan native has yet to step inside the winner's circle but has earned seven top-10 finishes this season, tying for eighth at the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro, tying for seventh at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship, tying for eighth at the Dow Championship, finishing runner-up at the CPKC Women's Open, tying for seventh at the AIG Women's Open, tying for fourth at Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G and finishing in a tie for second at the Buick LPGA Shanghai.
