After a marathon week of golf, which lasted nearly six days for a 72-hole event, 31 players will be heading to the LPGA Tour. Among the group of 31 will be a new group of rookies, along with plenty of familiar faces with a point to prove in 2026.

Among the new crop of rookies will be Helen Briem, who earned medalist honors at LPGA Q-Series Final Qualifying Stage. The 20-year-old finished the tournament 13-under after 72 holes, closing her time in Mobile, Alabama, with a 3-under 33 on her final nine holes. The German earned her place in the Final Qualifying Stage after finishing her 2025 season No. 9 on the LET Order of Merit.

The new LPGA Tour Rookie has competed in three LPGA Tour events, making the cut at The Amundi Evian Championship in 2025 and finishing T56. Briem will look to follow in the footsteps of Miyu Yamashita, who earned medalist honors at LPGA Q-Series Final Qualifying Stage in 2024 and went on to earn Rookie of the Year honors and win her first major championship at the AIG Women’s Open.

“Yeah, right now I'm a bit lost for words,” said Briem. “I entered this week with not a lot of expectations. But overall, I'm really happy that I am able to play LPGA next year, and that's really cool.”

The round of the day belonged to a fellow German, Polly Mack, however. Mack started the two shots out of the projected cut line at -2, which eventually moved to -5 by the end of play. The 26-year-old made it around the course over the past two days in just 64 shots, posting an 8-under round and securing her card once again through LPGA Q-Series.

“You always know Final Stage is going to be exhausting, it's going to be bad weather, it's going to rain, it's going to be cold, it's going to be anything,” said Mack. “I've been doing this since 2021, continuously every year, and it's not the dream to come back here every year, but I think I've learned a lot throughout the years that helped me this week to stay mentally in the process of knowing, the birdies will come, my game is in the right spot. I just gotta stay patient and accept what it is out there.”

Several LPGA Tour veterans will be returning to the LPGA in 2026 after having to make a pit stop in Alabama. Among those returning is major champion Hinako Shibuno, who grinded out an even par round to make the top 25 and ties on the number at 5-under.

Ryann O’Toole is another veteran who has won on the LPGA Tour and will be returning for another season on the LPGA Tour. The 38-year-old carded a round of 65 in her final round, going bogey-free while rolling in seven birdies to maintain her status.

“The last time I was here was 2014, and I told myself after that week, I never want to have to be back,” explained O’Toole. “But you never know what happens, and here I was back having to re-qualify. It's stressful, it's a grind, it's mentally and emotionally draining. Then this week, with just the weather, I mean it being freezing, being the delays, the rain, every single morning was early, between 5-6 a.m. wake-ups, it was early. It became a physical grind. I just think there's so much emotion that goes into this that it is a tough week.”
