NAPLES, Fla.,(Nov. 17, 2025) – Tonight,16 individuals and the members of the LPGA Hall of Fame accepted awards at the 2025 Rolex LPGA Awards which took place before the LPGA Tour’s season finale, the CME Group Tour Championship. The Tour saw multiple firsts in its 75th season, including a record-breaking 29 different winners throughout the year and celebrated six different Japanese winners, the most in a single season on the LPGA Tour.

Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year – Miyu Yamashita

“I am truly honored to win this award. I am very happy to stand here today. I am also grateful to have my name included among many wonderful players who have won this award before me. I will keep working hard and try to win many more tournaments.”

The Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year award was introduced to the LPGA in 1962, and each year, LPGA Tour rookie with the most points earned at official events based on finish position receives the honor.
Miyu Yamashita clinched the award following her 68th-place finish at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican.
Yamashita is the third Japanese player to earn the award since it was first introduced and the second consecutive winner, following Mao Saigo in 2024.
She first earned LPGA Tour Membership after taking medalist honors at Final Qualifying in 2024.
She finished inside the top five in her first start of the season at the Fortinet Founders Cup before becoming a Rolex First-Time Winner at the AIG Women’s Open.

Rolex ANNIKA Major Award – Minjee Lee

“I consistently work hard throughout the whole year to be able to contend in majors and in events and I think just all the hard work compounded together with a little bit of confidence.”

The Rolex ANNIKA Major Award recognizes the player who has the most outstanding record in all five major championships throughout the LPGA Tour season.
Points for Rolex ANNIKA Major Award are awarded at all five major championships to competitors who finished among the top 10 and ties; to earn the award, a player must have also won at least one of the five majors.
Minjee Lee won the Rolex ANNIKA Major Award following her T13 finish at the AIG Women’s Open at Royal Porthcawl.
Lee claimed her third major championship victory at the 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at PGA Frisco in June.
Lee did not miss a cut at a major championship in 2025, finishing T14 at The Chevron Championship, T22 at the U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally, first at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, third at The Amundi Evian Championship and T13 at the AIG Women’s Open.
She is the first repeat winner of this award, first winning in 2022, and is the only Australian to win the award.

Heather Farr Perseverance Award – Lindy Duncan

“For years I thought joy was earned. Through accomplishment, now I believe joy is a choice independent of scores and outcomes. That shift, choosing joy over validation gave me the freedom to be honest and vulnerable. Freedom to play and live freely.”

The award honors an LPGA Tour player who, through her hard work, dedication and love of the game of golf, has demonstrated determination, perseverance and spirit in fulfilling her goals as a player.
Since joining the Tour in 2014, Duncan has had her best season to date
Duncan had a career-high six top-10 finishes in 2025, highlighted by a tie for second at The Chevron Championship, competing in the largest playoff in LPGA Tour history at a major championship.
She recorded back-to-back top-10 finishes for the first time in her career during the fall Asia swing.

Founders Award – Stacy Lewis

“To get this award that has the name of the founders means the world to me. Those 13 women are why we have this opportunity today. Gosh, I look back on The Founders tournament, spending time with Marilynn and Shirley and over those years, getting to know them, it was one of the most impactful things of my career.”

The award is given to an LPGA Member who, in the opinion of her playing peers, best exemplifies the spirit, ideals and values of the LPGA through her behavior and deeds.
Stacy Lewis has 13 career victories with major championships at the 2011 Chevron Championship and the 2013 AIG Women’s Open at the Old Course in St Andrews.
She has represented the United States on multiple occasions, most notably as captain of the 2023 and 2024 United States Solheim Cup Team.
She led the Americans to their first Solheim Cup victory since 2017 at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Va.
As a player, she competed in the 2016 Rio Olympics, finished tied for fourth, appeared in two Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crowns and was a four-time member of the U.S. Solheim Cup Team, winning in 2015 and 2017.
Lewis announced her retirement from the LPGA Tour earlier this season at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G.
Going into this season, she knew this would be her final season on Tour; in press conferences, she noted wanting to spend more time with her daughter and to help the Tour grow off the course.

Commissioner’s Award – LPGA Hall of Fame Members

Betsy King, Lydia Ko, Nancy Lopez, Judy Rankin, Annika Sorenstam present at awards

The award, introduced in 1991, honors a person or organization that has contributed uniquely to the LPGA and its Members, furthered the cause of women’s golf, and possesses character and standards of the highest order.
The LPGA Hall of Fame was established in 1967 with its first class also being members of the Hall of Fame of Women’s Golf.
Those members included Patty Berg, Betty Jameson, Louise Suggs and Babe Zaharis (1951), Betsy Rawls (1960) and Mickey Wright (1964).
To qualify for the LPGA Hall of Fame, Members of the LPGA Tour who were active from 1998 and going forward must meet a minimum point threshold of 27 points.
Entrance to the LPGA Tour Hall of Fame is limited to LPGA Tour members who meet the following criteria:

Must have won/been awarded at least one of the following – an LPGA major championship, the Vare Trophy or Rolex Player of the Year honors; and
Must have accumulated a total of 27 points, which are awarded as follows – one point for each LPGA official tournament win; two points for each LPGA major championship win; one point for each Vare Trophy or Rolex Player of the Year honor earned; one point for an Olympic Gold Medal.

Lydia Ko is the most recent inductee to the LPGA Hall of Fame after securing her 27th point at the Paris Olympics with her gold-medal performance in 2024.
She is the youngest player to be inducted into the LPGA Hall of Fame under its current criteria.

Ellen Griffin Rolex Award – Marvol Barnard

“When I first picked up a club I didn’t dream of awards, I dreamed of getting the ball airborne. I just wanted to make solid contact. Then came teachers. Men and women who were patient, passionate, and very much taught me to believe in myself, even when I did not believe in myself. They showed me golf is more than a game. It’s about confidence, community, and possibility.”

The award, instituted by the LPGA Professionals membership in 1989 to honor the late teaching professional Ellen Griffin, recognizes an individual, male or female, who made a major contribution to the teaching of golf and emulates Griffin's spirit, love and dedication to students, teachers, teaching skills and the game of golf.
Marvol Bernard is the Director of Instruction at Country Club of Green Valley in Arizona.
She began teaching as a way to help others feel comfort in learning the game and introducing a variety of programs through her career, within her club and around the globe.
Bernard expresses her love for the game through her work with LPGA*USGA Girls Golf.
She has coached high school teams, launched a growing Girls Golf site at her club and expanded the program to Korea.

When an LPGA Member wins their first tournament as a full-time Member on Tour, they are recognized as a Rolex First-Time Winner.

With a few players in the race for the last two awards of the season, the Rolex Player of the Year and Vare Trophy will be awarded after the completion of the 2025 CME Group Tour Championship.
