Alison Lee played for Stacy in the Solheim Cup at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club and alongside her in the 2015 edition of the biennial team competition.

After welcoming her son Levi Todd Kidd in April 2025, the 30-year-old has returned to the game much quicker than what’s typical for most new LPGA Moms, convinced that she can still have success on Tour after giving birth because Stacy did.

“I feel like (Stacy) has given me so much inspiration to be able to come back and play and come out and win,” Lee said at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship. “If I didn't feel like I can come back out and potentially win, I probably wouldn't be wasting my time coming out here and trying to practice and get better and continue to compete because it is hard. I feel like it's very rare for a lot of moms to come back and do it. That's hard. Even to win in general is so difficult.

“When you have all that extra added stuff and responsibilities you need to do, it becomes exponentially harder. For (Stacy) to be able to achieve that has been so cool to see and so cool to witness.”

Even though the LOTTE Championship is where Stacy will wrap up the 2025 season, Lewis has no plans to completely extricate herself from women’s golf.

She still plans to tee it up in The Chevron Championship next season, the tournament that marked her first official career victory on the LPGA Tour, and that will ultimately be it for Stacy, her official farewell to professional golf and one final celebratory sendoff into the sunset.

But she’s far from through championing women’s golf, as Stacy’s advocacy for this game and the LPGA Tour will continue well into her retirement and beyond, even as she steps into a different chapter of life in the coming months.

Because no matter what, acting like a Founder is ingrained in Stacy’s DNA, something for which the LPGA and all who have been a part of it will always be immensely grateful.
