The LPGA Tour is at El Caballero Country Club this week for the first time since 2004 for the 2025 edition of the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro. Usually played at Wilshire Country Club, this year’s tournament will move venues while Wilshire undergoes construction, but that hasn’t stopped the world’s best athletes from wanting to tee it up in the final event before major season begins next week at The Chevron Championship. Several notable names are in the field, including two-time JM Eagle LA Championship winner Hannah Green, who captured the Los Angeles title the last two seasons, two-time major champion Nelly Korda and Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings No. 4 and UCLA alum Lilia Vu. Twenty of this year’s 21 rookies will also be competing at El Cab, as will five of the 2025 season’s seven champions, one of whom is Madelene Sagstrom, who collected her second career LPGA Tour title two weeks ago at the T-Mobile Match Play presented by MGM Rewards.
