Award recipient to be announced following the AIG Women’s Open

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (July 29, 2025) – With the final major of the 2025 season this week, projections are available for the 2025 Rolex ANNIKA Major Award. Fifteen players can win the prestigious award with an incredible performance at the AIG Women’s Open.

This season’s four major winners are currently in the lead: Mao Saigo (The Chevron Championship), Maja Stark (U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally), Minjee Lee (KPMG Women’s PGA Championship) and Grace Kim (The Amundi Evian Championship). Each of these players would secure the Rolex ANNIKA Major Award with a win at the AIG Women’s Open.

Without a victory at the AIG Women’s Open, Lee has the most chances to win the award as she leads the standings with 78 points. To have a chance, the following athletes must finish in a certain place or better: Saigo (eighth or better), Kim (win or second) and Stark (win or second).

Eleven other athletes who have performed well in the past four majors in 2025 have a chance to become the 11th winner of the Rolex ANNIKA Major Award with a victory at Royal Porthcawl: Jeeno Thitikul, Ruoning Yin, Ariya Jutanugarn, Angel Yin, Hye-Jin Choi, Lindy Duncan, Hyo Joo Kim, Auston Kim, Nelly Korda, Rio Takeda and Chanettee Wannasaen. The following scenarios must take place:

Thitikul must win and have Lee finish third or worse
R. Yin must win and have Lee finish third or worse
Jutanugarn must win and have Lee and Saigo finish third or worse
A. Yin must win and have Lee finish eighth or worse and Saigo finish sixth or worse
Choi must win and have Lee finish ninth or worse and Saigo finish seventh or worse and G. Kim and Stark finish third or worse
Duncan must win and have Lee finish eighth or worse and Saigo finish sixth or worse
H.J. Kim must win and have Lee finish eighth or worse and Saigo finish sixth or worse
A. Kim must win and have Lee finish eighth or worse and Saigo finish sixth or worse
Korda must win and have Lee finish eighth or worse and Saigo finish sixth or worse
Takeda must win and have Lee finish eighth or worse and Saigo finish sixth or worse
Wannasaen must win and have Lee finish eighth or worse and Saigo finish sixth or worse

Lee (2022), Jutanugarn (2018) and Korda (2024) are looking to become the first two-time winner of the award since it began in 2014.

The Rolex ANNIKA Major Award recognizes the player who, during the current LPGA Tour season, has the most outstanding record in all five major championships. Points are awarded at all five major championships to competitors who finish among the top 10 and ties. To earn the award by year’s end, a player must win at least one of the five major titles.

The winner of the Rolex ANNIKA Major Award will be announced following the conclusion of this week’s AIG Women’s Open and will be honored in November at the Rolex LPGA Awards at the CME Group Tour Championship.

1st – 60 points; 2nd – 24 points; 3rd – 18 points; 4th – 14 points; 5th – 12 points; 6th – 10 points; 7th – 8 points; 8th – 6 points; 9th – 4 points; 10th – 2 points
