Seven women have completed the Career Grand Slam in 75 years of LPGA history, but four of those athletes have achieved the feat at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship dating back to 1957. LPGA Founder Louise Suggs made history as the first woman to complete the Career Grand Slam when she won what was then known as the LPGA Championship on June 9, 1957, beating Wiffi Smith at Churchill Valley Country Club in Pittsburgh, Pa., to capture the fourth different major title of her career. At that point, the Georgia native had earned victories at the 1946, 1954 and 1956 Titleholders Championships; the 1946, 1947, 1949 and 1953 Women’s Western Opens; and the 1949 and 1952 U.S. Women’s Opens at Prince George's Golf and Country Club in Maryland and Bala Golf Club in Pennsylvania, respectively. Her final major victory came at the Titleholders Championship in 1959, and Suggs won a total of 11 majors throughout her career.

Massachusetts native Pat Bradley holed a midrange birdie putt on the final hole at the Jack Nicklaus Sports Center in Mason, Ohio, to win the 1986 LPGA Championship, a victory that saw her become the third woman in LPGA history to finish the Career Grand Slam. Before her triumph in Ohio, Bradley had won the 1980 and 1985 du Maurier Classics, the 1981 U.S. Women’s Open at La Grange Country Club in Illinois and the 1986 Nabisco Dinah Shore, what is currently known as The Chevron Championship. The LPGA and World Golf Hall of Fame member captured her last major victory also in the 1986 season, winning the du Maurier Classic just over a month after finishing the Career Grand Slam.

Juli Inkster

Juli Inkster won two majors during the 1999 LPGA Tour season, picking up her first U.S. Women’s Open title at Old Waverly Golf Club in Mississippi in early June and then winning again at the McDonald’s LPGA Championship later that same month at DuPont Country Club in Wilmington, Del., the latter of which saw Inkster complete the Career Grand Slam. Before those two victories, Inkster had won both the 1984 Nabisco Dinah Shore and du Maurier Classic, the former of which has since been rebranded as The Chevron Championship, and then took home the Nabisco Dinah Shore title again in 1989. Inkster successfully defended her KPMG Women’s PGA Championship title in 2000 and won her final major championship at the 2002 U.S. Women’s Open at Prairie Dunes Golf Club in Kansas.

Australian Karrie Webb became the first player from her country to join the Career Grand Slam club after winning the McDonald’s LPGA Championship at DuPont Country Club in 2001. She had captured the du Maurier Classic title in 1999 and won both the Nabisco Championship and the U.S. Women’s Open in 2000 before becoming the fifth woman in LPGA history to finish the Slam in Delaware. Webb successfully defended her U.S. Women’s Open title in 2001 at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club in North Carolina and then became the first and only player to finish the Super Career Grand Slam when she won what is now the AIG Women’s Open at Turnberry in 2002. She won her final major title in 2006, picking up her second career victory at the Kraft Nabisco Championship at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
