Three of the four members of the six-seeded Sweden Team at the 2025 Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown are winners this season, collecting victories at the T-Mobile Match Play presented by MGM Rewards, the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro and the U.S. Women’s Open at Erin Hills.

Much more significantly, however, three of the four have experience playing for the Europeans in the Solheim Cup and two of the Swedes have previously competed in a Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown, experience that will be invaluable this week in the Republic of Korea.

Meet the four members of the Sweden Team, who are set to tee it up at New Korea Country Club.

Maja Stark

Hometown: Abbekas, Sweden

Age: 25

Rolex Women’s World Golf Ranking: 15

Notable: Stark won her first LPGA Tour title back in 2022 at the ISPS Handa World Invitational and accepted the immediate membership she was offered as part of her non-member victory, making her a 2022 LPGA Tour rookie. She has only picked up one other title since then, winning the 2025 U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally at Erin Hills to join Helen Alfredsson, Pernilla Lindberg, Liselotte Neumann, Anna Nordqvist and Annika Sorenstam as the sixth Swedish major winner in LPGA Tour history.

Stark made her debut appearance in the Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown in 2023 at TPC Harding Park and has played on two European Solheim Cup Teams, doing so in 2023 and 2024 and boasting a 3-3-2 record in that biennial team competition. She represented Sweden in the 2024 Paris Olympics, finishing in a tie for 10th at Le Golf National in France.

Madelene Sagstrom

Hometown: Enkoping, Sweden

Notable: Sagstrom is by far the most experienced member of the Sweden Team when it comes to the Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown, as she teed it up in 2018, the last time the event was held in the Republic of Korea, and in 2023 at TPC Harding Park. The 2025 edition of the competition marks Sagstrom’s seventh time playing in this kind of team event since she joined the LPGA in 2017, as in addition to the now three Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown appearances on her resume, the Swede has played in four Solheim Cups, earning 5.5 points for Team Europe in that span with a 5-6-1 record. She additionally represented Sweden at the 2024 Paris Olympics, finishing in a tie for 20th that week.

The 32-year-old is a two-time LPGA Tour winner, tallying her first career victory in 2020 at the Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio. Sagstrom didn’t win again on Tour until the 2025 season, triumphing over Lauren Coughlin at the T-Mobile Match Play presented by MGM Rewards at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas.

Ingrid Lindblad

Hometown: Halmstad, Sweden

Age: 25

LPGA Tour Victories: 1

Rolex Women’s World Golf Ranking: 50

Notable: Lindblad is a 2024 Epson Tour graduate and secured LPGA Tour membership for the 2025 season on the Official Qualifying Tour of the LPGA after finishing sixth in the season-long Race for the Card point standings. She tallied one victory at the Tuscaloosa Toyota Classic and earned four additional top 10s last year to earn her LPGA Tour card in just nine total starts after she turned pro following a stellar career at Louisiana State University.

Lindblad is a rookie this season and became a Rolex First-Time Winner in April at the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro at El Caballero Country Club. She will represent Sweden in an international team competition for the first time as a professional this week in Korea, but the 25-year-old has done so several times throughout her junior and amateur careers.

Linn Grant

Hometown: Viken, Sweden

Age: 26

LPGA Tour Victories: 1

Rolex Women’s World Golf Ranking: 52

Notable: Grant is competing in her first Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown as a member of the Sweden Team, but she has previous experience playing in international team competitions from the two times she teed it up in the Solheim Cup in 2023 and 2024, combining for a 3-6-0 record across those two appearances.

The 26-year-old has one win on her LPGA Tour resume that came in 2023 at the Dana Open, and Grant represented Sweden at the 2024 Paris Olympics, finishing in a tie for 27th at Le Golf National.
