For the first time in the history of the Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown, one of the eight teams competing in 2025 will be a World Team.

The World Team is comprised of one athlete from four regions – the Americas, Africa and Oceania, Asia and Europe – who are not from a country that is already represented in the international team competition. This year’s World Team is the seventh seed, and its four members combine for a whopping 41 career LPGA Tour titles, three of which have been earned this season at the HSBC Women’s World Championship, the CPKC Women’s Open and the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G.

Lydia Ko (Africa and Oceania)

Hometown: Auckland, New Zealand

Age: 28

Notable: Ko is an LPGA Hall of Famer, gaining entry into one of the most exclusive halls of fame in all of sports after winning the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, a performance at Le Golf National in France that also saw her become the first golfer in the history of the Games to complete the medal trifecta.

She has tallied 23 career victories, earning her first win in 2012 at the CPKC Women’s Open as an amateur, and three of those wins came at major championships, including the 2015 Amundi Evian Championship, the 2016 Chevron Championship and the 2024 AIG Women’s Open at St Andrews.

The 28-year-old has held the top position in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings for a total of 125 career weeks, the third-most of all time, and is a two-time Rolex Player of the Year honoree. She was named the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year in 2014 and is a three-time Race to the CME Globe champion, as well as a two-time Vare Trophy recipient, also winning the Rolex ANNIKA Major Award in 2016.

Ko is additionally one of the rare few athletes to have been recognized with both the Founders and Heather Farr Perseverance Awards by her LPGA Tour counterparts. This is her first time participating in the Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown.

Charley Hull (Europe)

Hometown: Woburn, England

Age: 29

LPGA Tour Victories: 3

Rolex Women’s World Golf Ranking: 5

Notable: This is Hull’s third appearance in the Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown, but it will be the first time the Englishwoman hasn’t represented her home country in the international team competition, as she played for the England Team in both the 2016 and 2018 editions of the tournament.

The 29-year-old is a three-time LPGA Tour winner, most recently tallying her third career victory at the 2025 Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G in September, and she has a litany of team golf experience, having played on seven European Solheim Cup Teams, boasting a 15-9-3 record.

Hull has played for England in two Olympics, doing so in 2016 in Rio, where she tied for seventh, and in 2024 in Paris, where she tied for 27th.

Brooke Henderson (Americas)

Hometown: Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada

Age: 28

LPGA Tour Victories: 14

Rolex Women’s World Golf Ranking: 25

Notable: Henderson is the winningest Canadian professional golfer in history – male or female – and has captured 14 career LPGA Tour titles, the most recent of which came in her home country earlier this season at the CPKC Women’s Open. She is a two-time major champion, picking up her first major victory at the 2016 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Sahalee Country Club and then winning her second in 2022 at The Amundi Evian Championship in France.

She has represented Canada in the 2016, 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games, earning a career-best result of T7 in Rio nine years ago. Henderson was recognized by her peers with the Founders Award back in 2019.

This is her first team competing in the Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown.

Wei-Ling Hsu (Asia)

Hometown: New Taipei City, Chinese Taipei

Age: 30

Previous Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown Appearances: 2018

LPGA Tour Victories: 1

Rolex Women’s World Golf Ranking: 96

Notable: Hsu represented her native Chinese Taipei in the 2018 Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown and will be doing so again as a member of the World Team in 2025. The 30-year-old has notched one career victory on the LPGA Tour at the 2021 Pure Silk Championship presented by Visit Williamsburg, a triumph that saw her become a Rolex First-Time Winner that season.

Hsu has competed in the Olympics one time, finishing in a tie for 15th in 2021 at the Tokyo Games, and is both an Epson Tour winner and an Epson Tour graduate.
