Lee becomes a three-time major champion at the 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship

FRISCO, Texas (June 22, 2025) – Minjee Lee collected her third major championship victory today at the 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco in Frisco, Texas. With her victory on Sunday, Lee earned 60 points toward the 2025 Rolex ANNIKA Major Award.

Lee entered the final round with a four-shot lead over her closest competitor and never let up as the day continued. Her final-round 74 saw five bogeys, including three in the first six holes, and three birdies. However, the already two-time major champion never lost sight of the lead on Sunday. She concluded play as one of just three players to finish under-par over four days of competition at the third major championship of the season.

The now three-time major champion earned her 11th victory on the LPGA Tour and first since the 2023 BMW Ladies Championship. She became the 31st player in LPGA Tour history to win three or more major championships and just the third player from Australia to win three or more major titles, joining Karrie Webb and Jan Stephenson.

Lee is projected to move to second in the Race to the CME Globe and sixth on the Career Money List with the $1.8 million winner’s check at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

Lee previously won the Rolex ANNIKA Major Award in her 2022 campaign and is now one victory closer to completing the Career Grand Slam with wins at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship (2025), U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally (2022) and The Amundi Evian Championship (2021).

The Rolex ANNIKA Major Award recognizes the player who, during the current LPGA Tour season, has the most outstanding record in all five major championships. Points will be awarded at all five major championships to competitors who finish among the top 10 and ties. In order to earn the award by year’s end, a player must win at least one of the five major titles.

The winner of the Rolex ANNIKA Major Award will be announced following the conclusion of the AIG Women’s Open and will be honored in November at the Rolex LPGA Awards at the CME Group Tour Championship.
