Mirabel Ting was named the 2025 recipient of the ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel

CARLSBAD, Calif., and DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., (May 20, 2025) – As the 2025 recipient of the ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel, Mirabel Ting earns two points toward her standings in the LPGA Elite Amateur Pathway (LEAP). She now has a total of seven points in the official LEAP standings and remains 13 points away from the 20-point threshold required to be eligible for LPGA Tour Membership, per the LEAP criteria.

A junior at Florida State University, Ting had a standout season, recording five individual victories in her third year, including the 2024 Folds of Honor Collegiate, 2024 Schooner Fall Classic, 2025 Collegiate Invitational at the Guadalajara Country Club, 2025 Briars Creek Invitational and the 2025 Florida State Match Up. She was named the 2025 ACC Golfer of the Year and the 2025 Golden Nole for Women’s Golf from FSU Athletics. Ting is also a finalist for the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Player of the Year award.

Ting has made one previous start on the LPGA Tour, at the 2024 Maybank Championship in her home country of Malaysia. She finished tied for 12th that week and earned a point in the LEAP standings.

The ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel was created in 2014 and is annually given to the top female Division I collegiate golfer as voted upon by players, coaches and members of the golf media. Named for and presented by 72-time LPGA Tour winner Annika Sorenstam, the award was created in partnership with the Haskins Commission to acknowledge the top female collegiate golfer at the end of each season, much like the Haskins Award presented by Stifel, which recognizes the top male Division I collegiate golfer.

Past recipients include Ingrid Lindblad (2024), Rose Zhang (2022, 2023), Rachel Heck (2021), Natalie Srinivasan (2020), Maria Fassi (2018, 2019), Leona Maguire (2015, 2017), Bronte Law (2016) and Alison Lee (2014).

Ting now has seven points in the LEAP standings, accumulated since her 2023 season. Her current points breakdown is detailed as:

Top-40 finish at the 2024 Maybank Championship – 1 point
