Epson Tour alumni have made themselves known on the LPGA Tour so far in 2025, proving they’ve been prepared to compete against the best female golfers in the world by the Official Qualifying Tour of the LPGA. One rookie, Ingrid Lindblad, has already picked up her first LPGA Tour win at the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro, while others like Cassie Porter and Miranda Wang have already picked up a top-10 finish. Here are some other notable names teeing it up this week in the 2025 Black Desert Championship presented by Greater Zion.

Christine Wang

Wang received a sponsor exemption into the inaugural tournament, and heads to Utah with good momentum. The 23-year-old earned last-minute entry into the Epson Tour’s IOA Championship when another athlete withdrew and made sure to make the most of every moment she had in Beaumont, Calif. last week.

“I was just chilling here and sitting. Right? And then I just kept telling myself someone's going to withdraw,” said Wang after her second round. “Not that I was wishing ill on anyone, and then finally someone did. But they notified me like 15 minutes before the tee time, and I didn't warm up. I putted for 10 minutes and went straight to the tee. Didn't even realize I was playing until hole six, and I shot one-over (on Friday), which I knew could have been better.”

Despite the challenging start, the University of Southern California alum walked it back during Saturday’s second round, carding a 3-under 69. She saw hard work pay off throughout the weekend, finishing 21st, a career best for the Epson Tour sophomore.

Nataliya Guseva

Although this week will be Guseva’s first time teeing it up at the Black Desert Resort, the 22-year-old already has a Black Desert Championship title on her resume. Before hosting the LPGA Tour, the resort sponsored an Epson Tour tournament that was played in Salt Lake City in 2023.

The title was the University of Miami alum’s first professional career victory, and she’s been close to picking up another, this time on the biggest stage in women’s golf. So far in 2025, Guseva has made six cuts in eight starts and earned a season-best T9 finish at the T-Mobile Match Play presented by MGM Rewards.
