There are nine events remaining on the 2025 LPGA Tour schedule, and many of the year-long award races are likely to once again come down to the wire and ultimately be decided at the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship. Rolex ANNIKA Major Award

Minjee Lee won the 2025 Rolex ANNIKA Major Award following the conclusion of the AIG Women’s Open at Royal Porthcawl Golf Club in August. To be eligible for the honor, an athlete must win at least one of the five major championships that are annually contested on the LPGA Tour, a requirement the Australian met when she collected her third career major in June at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Fields Ranch East in Frisco, Texas.

Lee won that event by three strokes over Auston Kim and Chanettee Wannasaen to pick up her first major since the 2022 U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C.

The 11-time LPGA Tour winner tallied top-25 results across the four other majors this season, one of which was a T3 performance that came at The Amundi Evian Championship in Evian-les-Bains, France. She also tied for 14th at The Chevron Championship, tied for 22nd at the U.S. Women’s Open at Erin Hills and tied for 13th at the AIG Women’s Open.

In total, Lee earned 78 Rolex ANNIKA Major Award points for her season-long performance in the year’s biggest tournaments and ultimately finished four points ahead of Mao Saigo in the standings to become the first multiple winner of the award in its history.

Rolex Player of the Year

Jeeno Thitikul

Current Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul leads the Rolex Player of the Year race, topping the standings with 120 points after collecting her fifth career victory at the Mizuho Americas Open and racking up nine additional top 10s over the course of the 2025 season.

The Thailand native is being closely pursued by Minjee Lee, who trails Thitikul by seven and sits at 113 total points, with one win and five other top-10 results on her season-long resume. AIG Women’s Open champion Miyu Yamashita is in third and 20 points behind Thitikul, while her fellow countrywoman Mao Saigo is in fourth with 97 points, having become a Rolex First-Time Winner at The Chevron Championship in April.

Rookie Rio Takeda is the third Japanese athlete in the top five of the Rolex Player of the Year point standings at the moment, having tallied 82 points so far this season by capturing one win at the Blue Bay LPGA and notching six additional top 10s in her 22 starts.

Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year

The Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year race has tightened up considerably over the past few months. Blue Bay LPGA champion Rio Takeda still leads the way with 1,041 points, but she is closely trailed by her fellow Japan native and AIG Women’s Open winner Miyu Yamashita, who currently has 1,015 points.

Japanese twins Chisato and Akie Iwai are third and fourth in the standings, respectively, with 725 and 668 points. Both sisters have won on the LPGA Tour this season, as Chisato became a Rolex First-Time Winner at the MEXICO Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba, and Akie then matched her twin with a victory of her own at The Standard Portland Classic.

Epson Tour graduate and FM Championship winner Miranda Wang rounds out the top five, earning 420 Rookie of the Year points throughout the 2025 season.

Vare Trophy

Jeeno Thitikul

Rolex Rankings No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul leads the LPGA Tour this season in scoring average and is one of just three players with a sub-70 stroke average, currently tallying 69.30 strokes per round she has played so far this year. Both Nelly Korda and Minjee Lee are 0.59 shots behind Thitikul, each having a 2025 scoring average of 69.89.

Republic of Korea native and Ford Championship presented by Wild Horse Pass winner Hyo Joo Kim is in fourth in the standings (70.02), while Japanese rookie Miyu Yamashita is in fifth with a scoring average of 70.27.

To win the Vare Trophy, in addition to having the lowest scoring average at the end of the season, an athlete must also complete in at least 60 total or 60 percent of official tournament rounds with an individual score throughout the year and complete 70 total or 70 percent of official tournament rounds. The total and percentage requirements can be met using whichever number is less.
