The LPGA is putting on a unique event this weekend that will bring together women from across the golf industry with the We Are The Women In Golf Summit being held from May 17-19 in Daytona Beach, Fla. Check out what’s happening over the next few days as female golfers from all walks of life come together to learn, grow and celebrate each other’s successes both on and off the golf course!

Pro-Am

Several of this year’s Summit participants took part in a pro-am held at LPGA International’s Hills Course on Saturday, with an optional Titleist golf ball fitting available for those who played in the event.

Fittings

There were several opportunities for club and ball fittings with Titleist offered to Summit participants.

Golf Education presented by Callaway

The Golf Education presented by Callaway clinic was also available for those who didn’t compete in the pro-am and wanted some hands-on instruction from LPGA Professionals as well as a Blast Motion Training Aid.

Longest Gain Competition presented by Titleist

World Long Drive athlete Phillis Meti was on-site at LPGA International for both a Long Drive Exhibition and a Longest Gain Competition presented by Titleist.

Rise n’ Shine Beach Yoga

LPGA Class A Professional Jody Jackson is leading Rise n’ Shine Beach Yoga on Sunday morning for Summit participants.

Speakers and Panels

The We Are The Women In Golf Summit features an incredible list of both speakers and panelists, ready to answer questions and inspire female leaders in the golf industry.

This year’s speakers include actress Stephanie Szostak, World Golf Hall of Fame member Pat Bradley, VISION54 co-owners Lynn Marriott and Pia Nilsson, LPGA Foundation President Nancy Henderson, former LPGA Professionals President Marvol Barnard, LPGA Class A Professionals Cheryl Anderson, Jody Jackson, Gale Peterson and Nicole Weller, as well as World Long Drive Champion Phillis Meti.

The lineup of both panels and discussions on Sunday includes the #inviteHER Panel with Sheryl Wilkerson, Estela Morales Segarra, and Addie Parker, “Be Your Own Best Coach” with Pia Nilsson and Lynn Marriott, “Lessons from a Lifetime of Golf” with Pat Bradley and a panel titled “75 Years of Greatness: Lessons from the Legends.” This year’s keynote speaker is Stephanie Szostak, who is hosting a talk called “Create Your Inspirational Playbook for Life.”

Monday will see Jody Jackson host “From Nerves to Nirvana: Priming Golfers for Flow by Managing Performance Anxiety,” Marvol Barnard give some at-home golf tips in “Improve your Golf Game with Drills at Home!” and Nicole Weller talk routine in “Ingredients for Cooking Up a Great Golf Game: Successful Pre-Shot & Post-Shot Routine Keys.”

Award Presentations

Many LPGA Amateur and Professionals members will be recognized throughout the Summit. The LPGA Professionals Carrie Russell Award presentation is slated for Sunday morning, with the LPGA Amateurs Awards dinner taking place Sunday evening.

Optional Monday Golf

An optional round of golf on Monday is available for anyone attending the Summit who would like to participate.
