GALLOWAY, N.J., May 29, 2025 – Entries are now closed for the 2025 ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer, with the tournament boasting a world-class field that features several of the world’s top-ranked players, past champions, Major Champions and players who are returning to LPGA Tour competition. The ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer takes place Friday-Sunday, June 6-8 at Seaview, A Dolce Hotel in Galloway, N.J.

The 144-player field will be headlined by several of the world’s top-ranked players, including the world’s top-two players, Nelly Korda (1) and recent LPGA Tour winner Jeeno Thitikul (2), along with multiple LPGA Tour winner Lauren Coughlin (9), former World No. 1 Jin Young Ko (10), 2025 Chevron Championship winner Mao Saigo (13) and 2024 Amundi Evian Championship winner Ayaka Furue (14).

Multiple past champions have committed to the championship, including defending champion Linnea Strom, Ashleigh Buhai (2023), Brooke Henderson (2022), Annie Park (2018), Stacy Lewis (2012, 2014) and Brittany Lincicome (2011). Major Champions and fan favorites Allisen Corpuz, Georgia Hall, Danielle Kangand Jennifer Kupcho also headline the field prior to entries closing.

LPGA Tour winner and Philadelphia Cricket Club teaching professional Meaghan Francella will return to competition at the ShopRite LPGA Classic, her first event following spinal fusion surgery in 2024.

Augusta National Women’s Amateur runner-up Asterisk Talley and Epson Tour winner Sarah White have accepted sponsor invitations to compete in the ShopRite LPGA Classic. Talley, currently ranked 16th in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, is a three-time Junior All-American and the top-ranked player in the Rolex AJGA Rankings at 16 years-of-age. She is competing this week in her second-straight U.S. Women’s Open at Erin Hills. White will make her second consecutive start on the LPGA Tour at the ShopRite LPGA Classic. The Grand Rapids, Mich., native Monday-Qualified at last week’s MEXICO Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba, making her LPGA Tour debut. They join previously announced sponsor exemptions Kary Hollenbaugh, a rising senior at Ohio State University, and Junior All-American Gianna Clemente.

Atlantic City’s largest sporting event and one of the longest-running events on the LPGA Tour schedule, the ShopRite LPGA Classic is returning for its 37th year in 2025. New initiatives this year include ‘Team ShopRite,’ which will provide sponsorship and financial support to five deserving golfers as they chase their dreams on the LPGA Tour circuit and play the game they love while also reflecting ShopRite’s commitment to giving back to the community.

The five players who are representing the inaugural year of ‘Team ShopRite’ – Solheim Cup veteran Cheyenne Knight, Junior All-American Gianna Clemente, LPGA rookie Caley McGinty and LPGA professionals Gurleen Kaur and Brooke Matthews – are entered into the ShopRite LPGA Classic field. The players representing Team ShopRite will participate in a variety of tournament activities and other charitable events throughout the year.

The final two spots will be determined on Monday via the Monday Qualifier at the Bay Course at Seaview, along with the winner of the U.S. Women’s Open this week if not already eligible. For a complete list of tournament entries, click HERE.

The ShopRite LPGA Classic has been a launchpad for several of the game’s preeminent players to kickstart their LPGA Tour careers, including Paula Creamer, Brooke Henderson and Lexi Thompson. The tournament features many of the game’s greatest players as past champions, including Juli Inkster, Betsy King, Dottie Pepper, Seri Pak, Annika Sorenstam, Cristie Kerr, Stacy Lewis, Karrie Webb, Henderson and Thompson.
