A Lim Kim closed with a 4-under 68 on Sunday to finish runner-up at the ISPS HANDA Women's Scottish Open, climbing from fifth place into solo second at Dundonald Links.

The Republic of Korea native posted a 7-under 281 total, finishing two shots behind winner Jenny Shin, who closed at 9-under 279. Kim began the day at 3-under 213, tied for fifth, and needed a low final round to move up the leaderboard.

“My shot was good today, and everything else was pretty good,” Kim said.

The 30-year-old made just one mistake all day, a bogey on the par-4 second hole that dropped her to 2-under for the tournament. She answered right away with a birdie on the par-5 third hole to get back to 3-under, then played steady par golf through the eighth before a birdie on the ninth hole turned her in at 35 and 4-under.

That birdie opened the door to the round's defining stretch. Kim rolled in three more in a row on Nos. 10, 11 and 12 — four consecutive birdies bridging the turn — to surge from 4-under to 7-under. The par-3 11th hole was part of that run, and she closed with six straight pars over holes 13-18 to secure the 68 and her spot alone in second.

Gusty conditions tested the field throughout the afternoon, but Kim said she and her caddie stuck to their pre-round read of the wind.

“We knew how much wind was coming from over there, so trusting your line [was] more important,” Kim said.

The back-nine 33 was among the best closing nines of the day, though it wasn't enough to catch Shin down the stretch.

Sunday's result adds to a season already defined by consistency. Kim has made 11 cuts in 14 starts in 2026 and now has five top-10 finishes, including a T9 at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, a T5 at the Blue Bay LPGA and a T8 at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. She has three career LPGA Tour titles: the 2020 U.S. Women's Open, which she won as a non-member to earn her Tour status, the 2024 LOTTE Championship presented by Hoakalei, and the 2025 Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions.

With the AIG Women's Open on deck next week, Kim said she's carrying momentum into the year's final major.

“Really excited for next week,” Kim said. “Ready to read and calculate.”
