Five spots remain up for grabs on the 2026 team

Allisen Corpuz is the final player to lock in her spot on the 2026 U.S. Solheim Cup Team via the U.S. Solheim Cup points standings. The CPKC Women’s Open was the last event of the Qualification Period for this year’s Solheim Cup, and entering the week in Canada, only Corpuz and Andrea Lee could secure the final spot based on their points accrued. Lee had to win in Edmonton, Alberta, for a chance to pass Corpuz, but she ultimately missed the cut by one shot.

Corpuz will compete in her third Solheim Cup, having clinched her automatic qualifying spot through the points standings each of the previous two editions of the biennial team competition. Her overall record is 5-2-1 across eight Solheim Cup matches, which includes an impressive 4-0-0 record in foursomes matches alone.

The pairing of Corpuz and Nelly Korda has proven to be an unstoppable one in recent foursomes history at the Solheim Cup. The duo are the winningest American partners in foursomes and are one of five pairs tied for the most overall matches won in the foursomes sessions.

“Allisen can be summed up in one word – stealthy. She moves quietly and is sneaky good,” said U.S. Solheim Cup Captain Angela Stanford. “We’re pumped to have this veteran back on the team for her third straight appearance.”

In her last two seasons on the LPGA Tour, Corpuz has racked up six top-10 finishes, including a T8 finish at the 2026 U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally at Riviera Country Club and a T5 finish at the 2026 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Hazeltine National Golf Club.

Five spots remain on the 2026 U.S. Solheim Cup team. The top two players in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings following the CPKC Women’s Open who are not already eligible will earn a spot on the U.S. Solheim Cup Team, and Captain Angela Stanford will then make three picks.

As of the Rolex Rankings on Aug. 17, Andrea Lee (No. 37) and Alison Lee (No. 59) were the top two players in the standings, with Lindy Duncan (No. 61), Jenny Bae (No. 65) and Rose Zhang (No. 66) close behind. Zhang did not play in this week’s CPKC Women’s Open, while Andrea Lee and Bae missed the cut.

The qualifiers will be announced at 10 a.m. ET on Monday, Aug. 24, and the captain’s picks will then be named live on Golf Channel at 1 p.m. ET.
