Arpichaya Yubol shot a 5-under-underpar 66 on Sunday to jump five spots and finish alone in second place at the ShopRite LPGA Classic.

The 24-year-old from Thailand put together a strong final round featuring seven birdies and two bogeys to finish the tournament at 11-under 205 overall, following earlier rounds of 65 and 74. She hit 11 of 14 fairways and reached 15 of 18 greens in regulation during her final round.

Yubol played the final round alongside her close friend and fellow competitor, Chanettee Wannasaen, a pairing that she credited for keeping her relaxed under pressure.

"I play with my friend, Chanettee, so we have to talk a little bit," Yubol said. "We walk on the course and play together, so we don't have anything stressful when we play together. It's kind of friend and friend together. I do my best on my way as I can. It's golf. Everything happened is happened. But I'm really happy."

The solo-second finish marks another strong performance in a season where Yubol has made six cuts in eight starts, including a runner-up finish at the Riviera Maya Open.

Yubol, who is in her fourth year on tour, noted that she feels her maiden victory is getting closer.

"So for me, just keep believing in myself, in the process, and then just keep practicing, keep playing, and enjoy what I am now," Yubol said. "The one thing, maybe two things for me—I have to trust myself and have to enjoy my game."

With improved weather conditions on Sunday compared to a windy Saturday, Yubol felt comfortable attacking the course early and keeping an eye on the leaderboards as she closed out her round.

" I check the weather first in the morning when I'm wake up. It was good weather, so it's not windy like yesterday," she said. "I just kept thinking my game today is going to be like I can play aggressive a little bit. It's kind of can make score even like back nine it's very fun and pretty good.

“I'm try to looking on the scoreboard, like what I should to do for this hole and for next hole, and then, yeah, it's work for me, because like if you have like one more birdie, like your position is going to move up and then move up. Then, yeah, you have to just keep playing on your game.”
