Laetitia Beck carded a 4-over 75 in Saturday's second round of the ShopRite LPGA powered by Wakefern, leaving her with some ground to make up heading into Sunday's final round as she chases her first career LPGA Tour victory.

Despite a grueling day on the course, the 33-year-old sits in a tie for second place and remains firmly in contention in the Garden State.

Heavy winds hindered the entire field Saturday, making club selection and putting into a guessing game. Beck, the first Israeli player in LPGA Tour history, noted that the conditions made judging distances nearly impossible.

"Today was extremely windy, so definitely was much harder to judge club selections, and putts were also much harder," Beck said after her round. "That's where I pretty much struggled today. I didn't make putts, but I think I misjudged a little bit a few times with the wind being so long, leaving it short, and then the chip was pretty tough."

Last year on the Epson Tour, Beck made 13 cuts in 20 starts, racking up five top-10 finishes, including a victory at the Atlantic Beach Classic presented by Access Golf, before finishing eighth in the Tour's Race for the Card standings.

While she has made just three cuts so far in 2026, this weekend's performance puts the Epson Tour graduate in prime position for a breakthrough finish. Despite the Saturday stumble, Beck said she felt surprisingly at ease under pressure and plans to make adjustments for Sunday's final pairing.

"I learned a lot from those mistakes and definitely need to start working on my really low punch shots," Beck said. "I was very happy that I was comfortable out there. I wasn't too nervous, so that was something very positive.

"I am going to stay positive and just going to try to do my best to go out there tomorrow and shoot a low one."

Beck has a chance to shine in the final round, embracing the confidence and year on Tour. Looking back on LPGA Tour debut 12 years ago, she realizes that her journey has transformed her approach to handling competitive pressure.

"For sure it helps," Beck said regarding her experience. "It took a while to see the change. Definitely today, teeing on the first tee box, second tee box, I did not feel as nervous as I used to."

She recalled an early-career start in Alabama years ago, when she held a first-round lead and opened with back-to-back birdies, yet found herself very nervous. Thanks to the years under her belt and her recent winning experience on the Epson Tour, she heads into Sunday's final round in a much steadier frame of mind.

"The experience, even on the Epson winning, definitely helped me be in a much better state today," Beck said.
