One of the most unique events on the LPGA Tour schedule gets underway Thursday with the seventh playing of the Dow Championship. The team event, which features 72 teams, will see players square off in foursomes and four-ball competitions over the course of the four-day championship. Teams will not just be playing for bragging rights, but also a $3.3 mil purse. Here are some of the notable teams to watch during the first two rounds of the Dow Championship.

Thursday, 7:59 a.m., 1st tee; Friday, 1:07 p.m., 10th tee - Lydia Ko and Danielle Kang, Megan Khang and Lexi Thompson

The duo of Ko and Kang reunites again this season as they look to pick up their first top 10 finish in the team competition, having missed the cut in 2025 and a tie for 27th in 2024. Thursday, they’ll face the team of Khang and Thompson, who lost in a playoff in 2025 to champions Somi Lee and Jin Hee Im. Khang has previously teamed with Alison Lee and in the past Thompson also partnered with Brooke Henderson.

Thursday, 11:52 a.m., 1st tee; Friday, 7:41 a.m. 10th tee - Angel Yin and Juli Inkster, Linn Grant and Maja Stark

Yin will partner for the first time with Inkster, a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame who will also be making her tournament debut. Yin has had a slew of different partners through the years, her best finish coming in a tie for sixth in alongside Brittany Altomare in 2021. This week, Inkster will be teeing it up for the first time on the LPGA Tour since the Portland Classic in 2025. Thursday, Yin and Inkster will face Stark and Grant, a pair of Solheim Cup teammates who are partnering for the first time at the Dow Championship. Grant previously teamed up with Carlota Ciganda in 2024 and missed the cut, while Stark is teeing it up in the team event for the first time.

Thursday, 12:03 p.m., 1st tee; Friday, 7:54 a.m., 10th tee - Nelly Korda and Olivia Cowan, Chizzy and Akie Iwai

Korda returns to the Dow Championship for the first time since 2022, when she and her sister, Jessica, teamed up to finish tied for eighth. This week, Korda will team up with Cowan, a winner on the LET, who previously partnered with Stephanie Kyriacou in 2024. Thursday, Korda and Cowan will face the Iwai sisters who missed the cut in their tournament debut in 2025.

Thursday, 12:14 p.m. 1st tee; Friday, 8:07 a.m., 10th tee - Somi Lee and Jin Hee Im, Nasa Hataoka and Jin Young Ko

Lee and Im bested the field at the Dow Championship in 2025, which saw them defeat Khang and Thompson on the first playoff hole to win the LPGA Tour’s team competition. The duo returns again this season seeking to successfully defend their title, something that has never been done in the tournament’s history. Thursday, they’ll face Hataoka and Ko, who are teaming up for the second time, having finished tied for eighth together in 2024. Hataoka has also played alongside Lauren Coughlin, and Ko was runner-up with teammate Minjee Lee in 2019.
