Nearly a dozen players ranked inside the top 25 in the Rolex Rankings are teeing it up at the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give in what will be a final tune-up for players looking to get their games in shape ahead of next week’s KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Hazeltine National Golf Club. Blythefield Country Club will present a similar test, allowing players this week to make last minute adjustments before traveling to the third major of the year. Here’s a look at the notable groups to keep an eye on this week in the LPGA Tour’s return to Michigan.

Thursday, 7:48 a.m., 10th tee; Friday, 12:48 p.m., 1st tee - Aki Iwai, Brooke Henderson, In Gee Chun

Fresh off a top-10 finish alongside her sister at the Dow Championship, Iwai will look to build on that momentum this week at the Meijer LPGA Classic where she was tied for seventh in her tournament debut in 2025. Henderson, a two-time winner of the Meijer LPGA Classic in 2017 and 2019, is coming off one of her strongest performances of the season with a tie for 22nd at the U.S. Women’s Open. Henderson was tied for 14th at Blythefield in 2025. This week, Chun will look to build on the form she displayed two weeks ago at the U.S. Women’s Open where she made a run up the leaderboard to finish fourth. Chun was tied for 54th in Michigan in 2025.

Thursday, 7:59 a.m., 10th tee; Friday, 12:59 p.m., 1st tee - Hannah Green, Grace Kim, Minjee Lee

This Aussie trio will see three friends grouped together for the opening rounds of the Meijer LPGA Classic. Green will be seeking her fifth worldwide win of the season when she tees it up this weekend and is coming off a tie for 28th in the U.S. Women’s Open. Kim nearly won the Meijer LPGA Classic in 2024 but suffered a playoff loss to eventual champion Lilia Vu. Kim was tied for 24th at Blythefield in 2025. Lee will tee it up in Michigan ahead of her title defense at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship where she’ll look to build off her tie for 14th last year at the Meijer LPGA Classic.

Thursday, 12:59 p.m., 1st tee; Friday, 7:59 a.m., 10th tee - Jeeno Thitikul, Chizzy Iwai, Lottie Woad

Thitikul returns to Blythefield for the first time since 2024, when she was tied for eighth for the week. That was one of two top-10s the world No. 2 has at the Meijer LPGA Classic where she was also tied for fifth in 2022. Iwai struggled in her tournament debut at Blythefield in 2025 when she missed the cut, but she is returning to Michigan on form after finishing tied for seventh with her sister on Sunday at the Dow Championship. This week, Woad will make her tournament debut at the Meijer LPGA Classic where she’ll seek to win her third career title on the LPGA Tour, having already won this season with her victory at the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G.

Thursday, 1:10 p.m., 1st tee; Friday, 8:10 a.m., 10th tee - Alison Lee, Lexi Thompson, Jin Young Ko

Lee arrives in Michigan on a run of good form in which she followed up a strong showing at the U.S. Women’s Open, where she was tied for 14th, with a tie for third on Sunday at the Dow Championship alongside teammate Lilia Vu. Thompson, winner of the Meijer LPGA Classic in 2015, has been a consistent presence atop the leaderboard at Blythefield where she has three top-5s in her last four appearances. Ko comes to Michigan off a top-20 finish on Sunday at the Dow Championship with teammate Nasa Hataoka. Ko missed the cut at the Meijer LPGA Classic in 2025.
