CROMVOIRT, Netherlands - The much anticipated Friday Foursomes matches at the Solheim Cup were announced on Thursday afternoon at Bernardus Golf by U.S. Captain Angela Stanford and European Captain Anna Nordqvist. The matches will begin Friday morning and feature four matches that will be contested between the U.S. and European teams. Here’s a preview of the matches that will kick off the 20th edition of the Solheim Cup. All tee times are local.

7:40 a.m. Allisen Corpuz and Nelly Korda vs. Charley Hull and Lottie Woad

It comes as no surprise to see Corpuz and Korda reunite in the foursomes. The duo has been undefeated in the format when paired together in 2023 and 2024. Stanford says the history and rapport between the two made it an easy decision to pair Corpuz and Korda again. Stanford added that their recent success earned the pair the right to go off first for the United States. Hull defeated Korda in their last meeting at the Solheim Cup in the Sunday singles matches in 2024. Hull will look to lead her partner to victory as Hull is making her eighth Solheim Cup appearance while Woad is making her debut for Team Europe.

7:52 a.m. Alison Lee and Lauren Coughlin vs. Nanna Koerstz Madsen and Celine Boutier

Lee will make her third appearance in the Solheim Cup when she tees it up Friday morning alongside Coughlin, but it will be the first time that the duo will team up for the Americans. Coughlin made her debut in the Solheim Cup in 2024 and went undefeated for the week with a record of 3-0-1. This year, Koerstz Madsen is returning to the Solheim Cup for the first time since 2021 and will have a new partner in Boutier, who is a veteran for Team Europe with four prior appearances that resulted in her earning 7.5 points. Boutier had previously found success when paired with Georgia Hall who did not make this year’s team.

8:04 a.m. Andrea Lee and Lindy Duncan vs. Esther Henseleit and Leona Maguire

When looking at the statistics, Stanford says that Lee and Duncan were a good mathematical match. Stanford says Lee’s steadiness and veteran experience will go a long way in guiding Duncan, a rookie, who is making her debut for the Americans. Stanford says she’s hopeful that the team will be able to lean on Lee who leads the LPGA Tour in driving accuracy. Henseleit and Maguire will team up for the first time in the Friday Foursomes. Henseleit is making just her second appearance for Team Europe while Maguire will bring her veteran experience to the pairing having won 8.5 points in her three prior Solheim Cups.

8:16 a.m. Rose Zhang and Jennifer Kupcho vs. Maya Stark and Linn Grant

Zhang and Kupcho were two of the most decorated female amateurs in the women’s game in recent years and they will unite for the first time on Friday in the Solheim Cup. Zhang had to rely on a captain’s pick to make this year’s U.S. Team, but she gave Stanford lots of reason to select her for the squad with a record of 4-0-0 at the Solheim Cup in 2024. Longtime friends and fellow Swedes Stark and Grant will team up for the first time in the Solheim Cup since 2023. The pair lost in their first matchup together since the Friday Foursomes matches in Spain in 2023 and they did not play together in 2024.
