Pajaree Anannarukarn shook off an early round bogey and a bitter wind to post a 3-under 69 in the second round of the ISPS HANDA Women's Scottish Open, moving into a share of fourth place at Dundonald Links.

The 27-year-old from Thailand, who opened the tournament with a 1-under 71, sits at 4-under 140 through 36 holes, seven shots behind leader Jenny Shin's 11-under 133. Two rounds remain in the four-round event at the par-72 layout.

Anannarukarn began her day on the back nine and played steady golf through her first three holes before a bogey on the par-4 13th hole dropped her back to even par for the tournament. She answered immediately, though, rolling in a birdie at the par-4 17th hole to get back to 1-under before closing her outward nine with another birdie at the par-5 18th hole, turning in 35 and reaching 2-under for the event.

The Thai player kept the momentum going on her second nine. A birdie at the par-4 second pushed her to 3-under, and she added one more at the par-5 fifth to reach 4-under before pars over her final four holes sealed a back-nine 34 and a tournament total of 4-under.

"It was windy, really windy this morning," Anannarukarn said. "I had some really good opportunities out there. I think I was able to do well off the tee. So gave myself a lot of chances and yeah, despite the fact it was really cold, I was very pleased how I was able to stay warm out there and focus one shot at a time."

The round included four birdies against a single bogey, with 13 pars rounding out her card — a display of the patience Anannarukarn pointed to as the key to navigating the blustery conditions on Scotland's coast.

"I'm trying to hit one shot at a time because again, I'm trying to not put myself in a tough spot but if it's up there — just be patient and give myself a lot of room to play," she said. "I think I did really well on being patient."

Anannarukarn, who is ranked 12th on the LPGA Tour this season in strokes gained approach at 0.77, has made 11 cuts in 14 starts in 2026, with a tie for eighth at the U.S. Women's Open presented by Ally standing as her best finish. She has two career LPGA Tour victories, the 2023 Bank of Hope LPGA Match-Play presented by MGM Rewards and the 2021 ISPS Handa World Invitational presented by Modest! Golf Management.

A regular on the European swing over the past five years, Anannarukarn said the trip to Scotland's links courses remains one of her favorite stops on the calendar.

"I think link course play different to other golf courses, and I really enjoy it out here," she said. "I always miss coming back here. Once a year is good. Definitely coming back here and then getting more experience off the course and as well as, you know, battling the elements here, it's always great fun."

With 36 holes remaining at Dundonald Links, Anannarukarn will look to keep chipping away at Shin's lead heading into the weekend.
