The 2026 ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open is set to showcase one of the strongest fields in its history, with seven of the world’s top 10 players already confirmed to compete at Dundonald Links, July 23 – 26.

Headlining the field are World No.3 Hyo Joo Kim, World No.8 Miyu Yamashita, World No.9 Hannah Green, and World No.10 Sei Young Kim.

They join previously announced World No. 1 Nelly Korda, World No. 4 Lottie Woad, and World No. 5 Charley Hull, completing a stellar line-up of the game’s leading talent.

Collectively, the confirmed top 10 players have amassed 56 LPGA Tour victories, including 8 major championships, underlining the extraordinary strength of the field for this year’s championship.

Reigning AIG Women’s Open Champion Miyu Yamashita will make her second appearance at the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open this year, following an impressive debut in 2025 where she finished T10, just one week before going on to claim victory at Royal Porthcawl. Each of the last five AIG Women’s Open champions competed in the Women’s Scottish Open the week prior to their Major victory, highlighting the event’s key role as vital preparation for the final Major of the year.

Yamashita said: “I am really looking forward to being back at Dundonald Links this year for the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open. Last year was a great experience and the players were so well looked after. It proved to be the perfect preparation ahead of the AIG Women’s Open, so I’m excited to use it in the same way again before I defend my title next month.”

Further underlining the strength of the field heading to Dundonald Links next month, Korea’s Hyo Joo Kim, claimed back-to-back LPGA Tour titles at the Fortinet Founders Cup and the Ford Championship, both times narrowly edging out World No.1 Nelly Korda. Australia’s Hannah Green also enjoyed a strong start to the season, winning four times on the LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour between early March and mid-April.

The Scottish Government and VisitScotland remain long-standing supporters of women’s golf and recently announced a new funding agreement for the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open, providing investment to help support the growth and profile of the tournament over the next three years through to 2028.

The 2026 tournament returns to Dundonald Links following a record-breaking event, which welcomed more than 11,000 spectators across the week. This year’s edition will also be the only LPGA Tour event staged in Scotland.

The 2026 ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open marks the third year with ISPS HANDA as title sponsor and the fifth consecutive year the tournament has been held at Dundonald Links. The event returned to the Ayrshire venue in 2022 following a multi-million-pound redevelopment that transformed the Verde Resorts venue into one of the UK’s finest golf resorts. Dundonald Links also previously hosted the championship in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
