DAYTONA BEACH, FL – The LPGA and National Alliance for Accessible Golf recently announced a new partnership supporting the Adaptive Golf Hall of Fame.

Established in December 2025, the Hall of Fame was created to recognize individuals with a career of exemplary and selfless service, and commitment to creating pathways to the game of golf for individuals with disabilities; including players who, beyond competing at the highest levels, advocated and brought golfers to the game.

Through this partnership, the Adaptive Golf Hall of Fame introduces the historic, inaugural 2026 class of inductees, honoring two LPGA Professionals who exemplify trailblazing leadership reflecting a rich legacy of advocacy, innovation, and passion. The LPGA Professionals are proud to recognize LPGA Professionals Donna White and Dr. Betsy Clark, who will be joining these 18 individuals into the 2026 Class.

White currently serves as a professor and instructor at the Keiser University College of Golf in West Palm Beach, Fla. She competed on the LPGA Tour for 15 years from 1977-1992, earning three Tour titles: 1980 Florida Lady Citrus, 1980 Coca-Cola Classic, 1983 Sarasota Classic. In 1976, she won the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship and went on to represent the United States on the Curtis Cup and World Cup Teams.

The Florida native earned her LPGA Professionals Membership in 1997, became a Top 50 Golf Digest Best Women Teacher, and co-founded the Junior Golf Foundation of America. She has been involved in several adaptive golf initiatives since 1977, including the Special Olympics, PGA HOPE, and the LPGA Accessible Golf Committee, to name a few. In 2014, she was inducted into the LPGA Professionals Hall of Fame in recognition of her exceptional instruction and impact to the game.

“I am honored by this recognition and the opportunities I have had to introduce the game of golf and change the lives of people who never saw themselves swinging a club or playing the game,” states White. “To teach and learn alongside the most selfless LPGA and PGA golf professionals, therapeutic and physical therapist professionals in the industry to make golf accessible to ALL has been a blessing. My college golf coach and mentor, Dr. Dede Owens, would be proud.”

Dr. Clark is a former college professor who focused her PhD (1980) studies in teacher education and educational psychology. She is an LPGA Class A Life member who earned her LPGA Class A membership in 1994 to then go on to work with the teaching division’s certification process, contributing to growing the membership by over 140 percent. She also helped launch the national LPGA*USGA Girls Golf program in 1997, not only expanding the reach of golf to young girls, but also providing opportunities for LPGA professionals to organize and instruct these programs across the globe.

Clark is the Past Vice President of Professional Development for the LPGA and former LPGA Director of Education and Research. She was named LPGA Professionals Teacher of the Year in 1991 and received the Ellen Griffin Rolex Award in 2012 recognizing her exceptional excellence in instruction.

“I am very honored and proud for this recognition, and it is incredibly special to be part of this first class of the Adaptive Golf Hall of Fame!” says Clark. “Serving as the LPGA liaison since the inception of the National Alliance for Accessible Golf, and throughout my time with the LPGA, I loved working with the Alliance in their efforts to support golf programs for people with disabilities and provide the golf industry with education models and information on how to be more inclusive in bringing more people into the game, as golf can truly be a “Game Fore All!”

The LPGA’s official Adaptive Golf Manual “Accessible Golf: Making It a Game Fore All” was first published in 2005. The LPGA Professionals and Dr. DeDe Owen’s started the book initiative just before her passing in 1999.
