With four LPGA Tour major championships in the books, only two players remain in contention for the 2026 Rolex ANNIKA Major Award; Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings No. 1 Nelly Korda and No. 3 Haeran Ryu.

Both players enter the final major championship, having each claimed two major titles this season. Korda secured victories at The Chevron Championship and the U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally, while also posting a tie for eighth at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Ryu captured her two major titles at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and The Amundi Evian Championship.

To be eligible for the award at year’s end, a player must win at least one major title during the season, restricting the 2026 honors exclusively to Korda and Ryu as the two players that have won the previous four major titles. Korda currently holds a six-point lead over Ryu in the standings.

A victory for either Korda or Ryu would mark a major milestone in LPGA history. Korda would become only the second player to win the award twice, joining Minjee Lee (2022, 2025). Meanwhile, Ryu would become the fourth Korean player to claim the honor, following Inbee Park (2015), So Yeon Ryu (2017), and Jin Young Ko (2019). Ryu would also become the fifth player to win both the Rolex ANNIKA Major Award and the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year in their career joining Patty Tavatanakit, Jin young Ko, Lydia Ko and So Yeon Ryu.

If either player captures the AIG Women's Open title, she will become the first in history to win the Rolex ANNIKA Major Award on the back of three major victories in a single season.

Established in 2014, the Rolex ANNIKA Major Award evaluates top-10 finishes across all five LPGA major championships. Past recipients include Michelle Wie West (2014), Inbee Park (2015), Lydia Ko (2016), So Yeon Ryu (2017), Ariya Jutanugarn (2018), Jin Young Ko (2019), Patty Tavatanakit (2021), Minjee Lee (2022, 2025), Lilia Vu (2023), and Korda (2024).

The winner will be officially recognized in November at the Rolex LPGA Awards during the week of the CME Group Tour Championship.
