A fan base is built or loss one person at a time by the individuals and professionals who represent an organization and I would like to share with you my absolute gratitude for your ambassador and professional, Mina Harigae who played in a pro-am golf tournament but probably not with the foursome she probably expected when she volunteered to participate.
In this situation she hosted myself and three young female golfers to a six hour round and, no less, after just having played the four previous days in Rancho Mirage. I anticiapted Mina would be cordial but what I did not expect was how gracious she would be to these young golfers who, while good for their age, are not used to moving around an 18 hole tournament like this. Not only did Mina bear with us, she went out of her way to answer our many, many questions with genuine patience; she cheered and clapped the girls every good shot and was the first to accomodate them by replacing the fla g, raking a bunker or helping them in some other way.
To top things off she went out of her way to find seating with us at the award dinner when she could have easily sat with others she knows personally, with her day's "duty" done. On our way home after a very long drive, the girls could not stop talking about their new favorite LPGA player, Mina Harigae, and mine also. If your organization has others like Mina I suspect your four new LPGA raving fans will multiple many times over.
I hope you will share with Mina our thanks to her. She is a class act!
